Results Days 2024

A Level Results

Results day for A Level is on the 15th August. School will be open from 8.30am-10.30am for students in Year 13. For students in Year 12, who wish to collect their modular BTEC results, school reception will be open for you to do this from 10am - 10.30am. Please be aware, there will also be photos being taken of students opening their results.

There will be a number of staff available on the day for support with queries around grades, University places and our Careers Advisor will be around to support any general career/progression questions. If you have any questions at all, please do not leave without speaking to staff, many issues can be resolved quickly, and the correct advice given if you speak to us in person.

In the unfortunate circumstance of wanting a review of marking or to query a grade awarded, please be aware that there are exam board deadlines in place, and it may incur a cost. The internal date to have submitted an application to have the board check a mark or have the marking reviewed is 26th September. The overview of fees and services are on the forms found on this page. Please return these forms to the email address results@josephrowntreeschool.co.uk. Please do not submit for a service without speaking to a member of staff as it can have an adverse effect on grading, as results can go down. Please note that only A Level students whose university place is in jeopardy are considered 'priority'. This service is not available to GCSE students.

 

GCSE Results Day

Results day for GCSE is on the 22nd August. School will be open from 9am-11am for students in Year 11. For students in Year 10, who wish to collect their RS results, school reception will be open for you to do this from 10am. Please be aware, there will also be photos being taken of students opening their results.

There will be a number of staff available on the day for support with queries around grades, Sixth Form places and our Careers Advisor will be around to support any general career/progression questions. If you have any questions at all, please do not leave without speaking to staff, many issues can be resolved quickly, and the correct advice given if you speak to us in person. Year 11 do have a priority due to the necessity to support students in securing Post-16 places and ensuring they have access to staff in order to do this.
