  • Sociological perspectives
  • Psychological perspective
  • Supporting Individuals with Additional Needs
  • Physiological Disorders and their Care
  • Nutritional Health

 

The BTEC qualifications in Health and Social Care are designed for learners to gain the knowledge, understanding and skills for independent learning and development, not exclusively including:

  • A range of generic and transferrable skills
  • The ability to solve problems
  • The skills of project based research, development and presentation
  • The fundamental ability to work alongside other professionals in a professional environment
  • The ability to apply learning in related health and social care and early years contexts

ASSESSMENT

This qualification is assessed by 2 written exams that are externally marked and a combination of internally marked assignments and tasks that are moderated by the exam board.
