- Supporting Individuals with Additional Needs
- Physiological Disorders and their Care
- Nutritional Health
The BTEC qualifications in Health and Social Care are designed for learners to gain the knowledge, understanding and skills for independent learning and development, not exclusively including:
- A range of generic and transferrable skills
- The ability to solve problems
- The skills of project based research, development and presentation
- The fundamental ability to work alongside other professionals in a professional environment
- The ability to apply learning in related health and social care and early years contexts
ASSESSMENT
This qualification is assessed by 2 written exams that are externally marked and a combination of internally marked assignments and tasks that are moderated by the exam board.
