The Ken Ather Centre is an activity centre located at Stape, North Yorkshire. The old village primary school has been transformed into a great base for bike rides and a whole host of other outdoor activities. You can ride from the door or a short drive takes you to Dalby Forest. The centre provides an ideal base for a residential outdoor activity trip. Great facilities and open space around the centre provide an ideal mix for groups upto 30.
Stape is a hamlet and civil parish in the Ryedale district of North Yorkshire, England in the North Riding Forest Park, 4 miles north of Pickering. The Centre is managed by The Joseph Rowntree School Fund (registered charity No. 1046093) and offers economical self-catering group accomodation with dormitories and camping ground.
